Welcome to the world of “K” and “Eva”! In this role-playing action game, you are summoned to save an otherworldly kingdom and embark on exciting new adventures with your trusty automaton companion. The game is still in development, and there is no official Outerplane release date, but you can pre-register for the 2nd CBT that will start on 2023/01/5 from the official website of Outerplane.

Outerplane

The Outerplane delivers a visually spectacular gaming experience that will put you right in the thick of the action with fully rendered 3D graphics and eye-catching aesthetics. The game also features dynamic action, allowing you to create different compositions and combo attacks to defeat your enemies.

But victory will not come easily – you will need to challenge your abilities in strategy-based combat and make brilliant moves to turn the tide of battle. As you explore the epic stories of this otherworldly kingdom, you can check out the skills of every character and be amazed by their combat cutscenes. Let’s start the Outerplane beginner guide and see what you should know to have nice and easy gameplay.

Combat Overview of Outerplane

In this game, the stage progress occurs in a side-scrolling manner, and you have access to four heroes at once. As the battle progresses, each of your heroes will have a turn to attack, and you can choose to activate one of their three abilities to attack the enemies.

Combat Overview of Outerplane

Prioritizing Skill Usage

When you use your skills is important in the thing you have to plan in Outerplane. After using a skill, you must wait a predetermined number of turns before using it again. This is called the cooldown period, and it depends on the power and usefulness of the skill. To make the most of your skills, you should read their descriptions and see what each of your heroes’ skills do, as well as how long the cooldown period is. This will help you coordinate your skills better.

Prioritizing Skill Usage

For example, if you have a skill that can heal your party, you might want to use it around the second round so that you can get your party to full hit points without wasting it. That way, the skill will cool down once more when you need it later in the battle. If you save it to use until your team has lost more than half of its hit points, you might not get another chance to use it, and it could affect your performance in the next battle of the stage.

It’s also important to consider whether a skill is a single target or an AOE (area of effect) skill. If you’re up against several foes at once, you should prioritize using AOE spells over single-target skills. However, if you are only fighting one enemy, you should use your single-target skills first to maximize the damage you can do.

Planning Ahead Saves Time

The elemental compatibility in this game works as follows:

Fire (red) -> Earth (green) -> Water (blue)

Light (yellow) -> Dark (purple)

This implies that while fire is powerful against the earth, it is weaker than water. Earth is resilient to water yet vulnerable to fire. While being weak against Earth, water is strong against fire. Light and Dark elements are only strong against each other and neutral against other elements.

It is important to take elemental compatibility into account when selecting your heroes for battle. If you have an elemental advantage over your enemies, you will do increased damage to them, and they will do reduced damage to you. On the other hand, if you have an elemental disadvantage, you will do reduced damage to your enemies, and they will do increased damage to you.

During a battle, you can see which enemies have an elemental advantage over your heroes by looking at the arrows above their heads. If you see an enemy with a green arrow, it means that they have the advantage, and you should try to take them out first to reduce the incoming damage.

Planning Ahead Saves Time

On the top of the screen, there is a line with dots that indicates the number of battles you have to complete in a stage. If you lose half of your team before you even reach the halfway point, it might be better to retreat and come back later when your heroes are stronger. The fights tend to get harder in the later stages of the game, so it’s important to be prepared.

Heroes of Outerplane

Outerplane has several types of heroes that you can use according to your need. You can obtain them through the recruit section of the game. All of the beginners will get a free 10x summon, and you are guaranteed to get at least one three-star hero through this. Every hero you get has a class they fall under according to their fighting style. There are five classes: defenders, Strikers, rangers, mages, and healers.

Heroes of Outerplane

Creating Formations

In Outerplane, Each of these classes has a special job they are good at, and you have the complete freedom to choose any of them for your team, but you should know the following about each class before you do that.

  • Defenders: These heroes are designed to withstand severe damage while guarding their teammates. They usually have high hit points and strong defensive abilities, such as shields and counterattacks. They are best used to absorb damage and draw attention away from other heroes in your formation.
  • Strikers: These heroes excel at dealing with high amounts of single-target damage. They often have abilities that weaken enemies, making them easier to defeat. Strikers can be used to take out high-priority targets, such as enemy bosses or key support heroes.
  • Healers: These heroes are in charge of keeping their companions alive, as their name suggests. They have abilities that restore health to their allies and can also remove debuffs or negative effects. Healers should always be placed at the back of your formation to keep them safe and allow them to focus on healing without being interrupted.
  • Mages: These heroes specialize in dealing damage to multiple enemies at once with their AOE (area of effect) abilities. They can also provide helpful debuffs or negative effects on enemies, such as slowing them down or decreasing their damage output. Mages should be placed in the middle or back of your formation, depending on their defensive capabilities.
  • Rangers: Like mages, rangers deal damage to multiple enemies with their ranged attacks. However, they do not have as many utility abilities as mages, such as debuffs or negative effects. They excel at dealing consistent damage over time and should be placed in the middle or back of your formation.

It’s important to note that while each class has its own strengths and weaknesses, you should choose the heroes that fit your playstyle and the specific needs of your team. It’s also helpful to have a balanced team with a mix of different classes to take advantage of their unique abilities and cover for each other’s weaknesses.

Things to Know to Deal Great Damage

In Outerplane, there are several ways to increase your power and the effectiveness of your team. Choosing the right heroes for your formation, taking into account their element, and using the burst attack and chain attack are all ways to deal great damage.

Things to Know to Deal Great Damage

During combat, your heroes will generate something called burst points. Once the points are full, you can use their abilities to deal great damage. The way that burst points are accumulated depends on the hero’s class.

Mages accumulate burst points by using all of their skills, healers get burst points when their allies take damage, defenders get burst points when they are hit, and strikers get burst points through their attacks. Rangers do not get these benefits, but they have the ability to generate high base points.

Another way to increase your damage is to achieve growth goals. This can be done by raising the hero’s star level, increasing their level, and other actions. When you achieve growth goals, your heroes’ skills receive a boost, and you are also rewarded with gems. Collecting weapons is another way to raise your power, but it requires collecting a large number of weapons to be effective.

Conclusion

Since the Outerplane game is still in development, this is all the information we have for now. We’ll have fresh resources for you once the Outerplane is released. We should conclude this Outerplane beginners guide at this point. Enjoy your day, and thanks for reading.
