AFK Arena Ascension Guide
AFK Arena Ascension has 3 several tier types of heroes and they are portrayed in the game as legendary, common and ascended. All these tiers are holding a maximum level for the cap.
- Common tier – these heroes are capable of levelling up into 100 levels
- Legendary tier – in here, heroes will be levelling up into 160 levels
- Ascended tier – these tier heroes are capable of levelling up into 240 levels.
If a player needs to get a hero from the legendary tier to level 160 or if he needs an ascended one from the level 240, these heroes are required to go with an AFK Arena Ascension within the temple of ascension.
Common tier heroes are always good for keeping retired in the Rickety cart and they can be used on exchanging dust and hero coins. You will have the ability to turn on some automatically retiring new common heroes as a function within this Rickety cart.
Sometimes you will get a legendary hero or sometimes sit can be an Elite rarity and the heroes of ascended within that Elite rarity. They should be ascended for a high rarity level besides from their respective levelling caps.
AFK Arena Ascension Guide – Requirements
- Rare and Rare + -you need two copies from the same hero at the Rare rarity
- Rare + and Elite – you need two copies from any type of hero from the same factions and it should be a rare rarity
- Elite and the Elite + – one copy from the same hero coming from Elite rarity
- Elite and the Legendary – two copies from any heroes which come from the same faction at the Elite rarity
- Legendary and the Legendary – one copy from the same hero which comes from the elite rarity
- Legendary and the Mythic – one copy from any heroes which comes from the same factions. They are at the legendary rarity
- Mythic and the Mythic – one copy from any heroes which comes from the same faction and it’s from the legendary rarity
- Mythic and the Ascended – two copies from the same hero which comes from the Elite rarity
- Ascended and the Ascended star – one copy from the same heroes which comes from the Elite rarity on each star
In here, the legendary heroes are fodder to ascending the tier heroes of ascended. Sometimes you may be used them from several stages of the game based on their uses. After you pass level 240, the levelling system will be changed the level caps within the Resonating crystals are increasing into 5 levels on each ascended hero that you own currently.
So if a player needs to ascend a tier hero from Elite to the Ascended rarity, they will need 8 copies from the Elite of their ascended tier hero. And they will also need 180 copies of Rare of the fodder. There will be required to have 2 more copies of Elite to the ascended tier hero on each startup from up to 5 stars. Total copies will be 18 copies.
AFK Arena Ascension – Math
- Rare + rarity will need 3 Rare heroes
- Elite rarity will need 9 Rare heroes
- Elite + rarity will need 18 Rare heroes
- Legendary will need 54 Rare heroes
- Legendary + will need 72 Rare heroes
It is not a rule to only ascend the heroes which are using in the battleground. They can also ascend the ones they can. When you ascend several heroes within a similar faction will put you straight forwards] into the fodder heroes and it will make your game progress very slow.
The heroes players are depending on are mostly based on the range but they can also purchase some other heroes from several stores. And they can be purchased from events to have better progress on the ascension. Don’t be worried when you do not take enough tier heroes of ascended from the fodder. There will be 43 current ascended tier heroes who are coming from 4 main factions and you going to need 7740 rare heroes on ascending them all.
We do not recommend you to use these ascender tier heroes as the fodder until you have 8 copies from that hero. The reason is you will need them for the long run on increasing the level cap. Extra attention should be paid while you are ascending the heroes of fodder so you will not ascend a wrong hero. Always keep remembering about your rarity that you want to ascend and have a plan based on that.
This kind of ascension process is there for applying to 4 major factions as
- Wilders
- Maulers
- Lightbearers
- Graveborns
Hypogean and the Celestial faction heroes are following a different ascension process which will not require the fodder heroes.

AFK Arena Ascension Guide – Process
- Elite with Elite + – will need one copy from a similar hero from the Elite rarity
- Elite + with Legendary – will need one copy from a similar hero from the Elite + rarity
- Legendary with Legendary + – will need one copy from a similar hero from the Elite rarity
- Legendary + with Mythic – will need one copy from a similar hero from the Elite + rarity
- Mythic with Mythic + – will need one copy from a similar hero from the Elite + rarity
- Mythic with Ascended – will need two copies from a similar hero from the Elite + rarity
- Ascended with ascended star – will need one copy from a similar hero from the Elite + rarity on each star
So if you need to ascend a celestial or Hypogean ascended tier hero who comes from the Elite rarity to the Ascended rarity, you will need 14 copies of the elite of the celestial / Hypogean ascended tier hero. And also you are required to have another 2 copies from Elite of the Celestial or Hypogean ascended tier hero on each startup to 5 stars. Total will be 24 copies.
Dimensional heroes with AFK Arena Ascension Guide will go with a separate rule. They need a rarity and a level of the hero which they are fused on currently. Acquiring these dimensional heroes can be done at the Elite rarity.
